Opening Up the Emoji Keyboard on Windows & Mac

On Windows, open any program that allows you to enter text. This could be a web browser, a word document, or something else.

Inside the text entry area use the keyboard shortcut Windows button + period (.) until the emoji picker appears.

Press the emoticon that you want to use.

Mac

Open any app that allows you to enter text – could be a web browser, word, sheets, or anything. Inside the text entry area press Command + Control + Spacebar.
